The facility will generally have procedures in place for notifying the appropriate people and releasing the person into the care of the cremation provider you choose.
If the person died at home:
The next steps depend on whether hospice or another medical provider was involved. If you're unsure who needs to be contacted, call us. We'll help you understand what needs to happen next.
